The UUID in Factory Systemes Backup & Recovery is essential: each backup is given a unique identifier, guaranteeing that it can only be restored on the original machine. This ensures consistency and avoids errors or incompatibilities in critical industrial environments.
It is still possible, however, to export and import images to another machine, provided it is using Backup & Recovery. The software then generates the UUID and creates the exclusive link between the SSD and the image.
